Blue Pearl Therapy also offers 5 discounted slots in order to make our services more accessible. These slots are first come first serve and are only available at the discretion of your therapist.
*EMDR sessions are 60-minute specialty trauma sessions billed at a different rate than standard psychotherapy due to the advanced training required and the focused nature of trauma processing work. EMDR sessions may include preparation, resourcing, reprocessing, and integration.

Using Thrizer for Out-of-Network Therapy

If you are planning to use your Out-of-Network benefits, we have a few options that you can choose from based on your needs…

Before you meet your deductible, you will pay the full session fee at the time of each session.
After you meet your deductible, your therapist will charge you just your calculated “co-pay” at the time of session directly through Thrizer’s payment platform. Thrizer will float the rest of your therapist’s fees and wait for insurance reimbursement on your behalf.
Your “co-pay” is based on your therapist’s fee, your insurance plan’s expected reimbursement, and Thrizer’s 5% service fee.
Thrizer charges a 5% fee (based on session rate) when you use Thrizer Pay to pay only your estimated portion at the time of service.

Your therapist will charge you the full session rate at the time of session directly through Thrizer’s payment platform.
Thrizer will submit claims automatically and manage reimbursement so you do not have to deal with insurance. After meeting your deductible, you will receive reimbursements directly to your bank account.
While you are working toward your deductible, Thrizer does not charge a fee. After your deductible has been met, Thrizer charges 1% of your therapist’s fee upon successful reimbursement.

Your therapist will send you monthly superbills that you will upload to your Thrizer account.
Thrizer will submit claims and manage reimbursement so you do not have to deal with insurance.
After meeting your deductible, you will receive reimbursements directly to your bank account.
Thrizer charges $2 per session when working towards your deductible, and $2 per session + 1% of the superbill amount after you meet your deductible.

Your therapist will send you monthly superbills that you can submit directly to your insurance. You will wait for reimbursement and deal with any denials on your own.
Good Faith Estimate
In compliance with the No Surprises Act that went into effect January 1, 2022, all healthcare providers are required to notify clients of their Federal rights and protections against potential “surprise billing.”
As an out-of-network provider, I will provide you with a “Good Faith Estimate” prior to our first session. This will be an approximation of the overall price of individual therapy services.
